Reform of state and territory fundraising laws, streamlined business reporting and hastier excise processes are part of a deal signed off by the nation’s treasurers on Friday.

Federal Treasurer Josh Frydenberg and each of his state and territory counterparts agreed on the plan to reduce costly and cumbersome business regulation, committing to end unnecessary duplication across different levels of government.
