The summer omicron wave is over but the next one is around the corner

Australia’s summer omicron wave has reached its end, amid early signs the nation is moving into a new wave of infection as the latest case data shows a 7.6 per cent increase across the country.
All states reported increases in case numbers over the previous week based on a seven-day rolling average for the week ending February 15.
