Supporters of the Indigenous Voice to parliament say they can win over the 30 per cent of Australians yet to make up their mind through conversations in the community and a sophisticated ground game, as Anthony Albanese kicks off a six-week run to the polls.

The prime minister will headline a major launch event in Elizabeth, in Adelaide’s northern suburbs, on Wednesday announcing an October 14 referendum at a community rally alongside South Australian Premier Peter Malinauskas and AFL diversity manager Tanya Hosch.
