Spin doctors assembled for $4bn Medibank privatisation

The federal government has reportedly begun laying the groundwork for a $4 billion privatisation of health insurer Medibank Private, with the appointment of a firm charged with developing a communications strategy for the process.
A five-month contract worth $211,000 has been awarded to Newgate Communications, which is to devise the communications strategy, Fairfax Media reported on Wednesday morning.
