Sarah Hanson-Young wins defamation case against former senator

Greens senator Sarah Hanson-Young has been awarded $120,000 in her defamation battle with David Leyonhjelm after a judge found the former MP had intended to "publicly shame" her.
Justice Richard White was scathing about Mr Leyonhjelm's conduct, saying he had been "actuated by malice" and "reckless" when he said she should "stop shagging men".
