Sam Mostyn gets $200k pay rise

Incoming governor-general Sam Mostyn will be paid more than $709,000 a year, a pay rise of more than $200,000 from her predecessor David Hurley.
Set to be sworn in as King Charles’ representative in Australia on July 1, Ms Mostyn’s remuneration will be considered by parliament this week after legislation was introduced on Monday.
