• PM lashes ‘outrageous’ Israel blockade of Gaza: Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has criticised Israel for its partial blockade of Gaza that has left thousands of people on the brink of starvation, revealing he personally protested to Israeli President Isaac Herzog earlier this month.

• Spender says super tax is not justified: Independent MP Allegra Spender says Labor has not justified why they’re willing to tax “paper profits” amid revelations of deferred payments.

• Eight votes separate Bradfield candidates, results could be weeks away: Almost a month after ballots were cast, tally room officials are back at square one for a recount.
