Racism and antisemitism ‘pervasive’ at universities: report
Jewish students have told a review into racism on university campuses they face a barrage of antisemitism and hate, including intimidation and exclusion, stemming from the October 7 terrorist attack on Israel.
An interim report by the Australian Human Rights Commission said Jewish students believed university administrations were incapable or unwilling to adequately address their safety concerns, including over targeted harassment and neo-Nazi activities.
