Queensland researchers will boost Australia’s capability to produce critical mRNA vaccines and cancer therapies, helping to unlock world-leading research and commercialisation.

As governments race to establish domestic supply of so-called messenger RNA vaccines amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the University of Queensland’s Australian Institute for Bioengineering and Nanotechnology has received new federal funding for RNA and DNA research.
