Qantas, Virgin workers could assist emergency aged care response

Qantas, Virgin Australia and Spotless staff could be called in to help Victoria's emergency response to the deadly spread of COVID-19 in nearly 100 aged care homes.

State and federal governments, Defence Force personnel, hospital teams and the Aged Care and Quality Commission have joined efforts to stem transmission but a parliamentary inquiry has been told that more than 1200 residents and staff are among confirmed cases.
