Scott Morrison has blamed the Victorian government for COVID-19 failures in aged care, saying state authorities were responsible for the pandemic spread in facilities regulated by the Commonwealth.
More than 260 people living in federal government-subsidised aged care centres have died from COVID-19, and there have been another 1500 confirmed cases among residents and 1400 among staff.
