NSW perilous as modelling suggests Victoria slowly flattening curve

Early modelling of the COVID-19 outbreak shows NSW's COVID-19 reproduction rising rapidly, with the state at peril because of the higher potential risk of underlying community transmission.
Epidemiologist modellers at Melbourne University's Doherty Institute have made preliminary estimates the current NSW reproduction number has risen sharply over the last week to "well above one".
