No guarantee Gaza ceasefire deal will end antisemitic attacks: Labor
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese says he is hopeful the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas will hold, but NSW Premier Chris Minns played down the prospect it would bring an end to the recent spate of antisemitic attacks in Sydney.
“I can’t promise an end to these despicable antisemitic attacks, I can’t do it. No premier can, and it would be irresponsible to do it,” Mr Minns said at a press conference with Mr Albanese on Sunday.
