Morrison offers $800 in bonuses to aged care staff
Workers in the federally funded aged care sector will receive two incentive bonuses of up to $400 each over coming months as the Morrison government seeks to alleviate crises in staffing levels and quality of care being caused by the pandemic.
The announcement, to be made in a speech on Tuesday to the National Press Club, will cover workers in residential facilities and home care, and will include all workers such as nurses, cleaners and kitchen staff.
