Global cases top 900,000; deaths top 46,000
The number of confirmed global cases was at 911,308 and the death toll at 46,252, as of 6.45am AEDT, according to Johns Hopkins University data.
The US has the most cases with 206,207, followed by Italy, Spain, China, Germany and France.
Italy has the most deaths with 13,155, followed by Spain, the US and France.
