Liberals must pursue aspiration again

The two-party system has served Australia well for many years, with regular prodding from a passing parade of independents of various hues. But now, with 16 or more Greens and independents, we could be headed for government by compromise, especially in the Senate, which does not lead to optimal outcomes.
