Liberals’ male dominance comes down to democracy: Dutton

Opposition Leader Peter Dutton says he wants more Liberal women in federal parliament, but local branches were selecting candidates who have a strong affinity with their communities.
The Australian Financial Review on Tuesday revealed the Liberal Party had preselected just one woman and six men to contest seats held by departing MPs at the next election.
