Less than 7pc of Australians eat a healthy diet

Nearly 65 per cent of Australian adults and 25 per cent of children are overweight or obese, and less than 7 per cent consume a healthy diet.
That’s the bleak assessment of the latest scorecard on Australia’s growing obesity epidemic, detailing a dangerous backslide on the fight to improve nutrition and avoid chronic health conditions.
