Labor intensifies push for AMP culture inquiry
Labor is lobbying with renewed vigour for a parliamentary inquiry into AMP's culture, after the departure of chairman David Murray amid public backlash to the wealth manager's handling of sexual harassment allegations.
NSW senator Deborah O'Neill said the announcement of Mr Murray's departure, along with the demotion of AMP Capital chief Boe Pahari, would put wind in the sails of her efforts to have the parliament investigate AMP's alleged cultural and governance failures as a "case study".
