‘I’ve been exiled’: Payman threatens to quit Labor

Rebel senator Fatima Payman has hinted she may quit the Labor Party after claiming to have been “exiled” by colleagues in a bid to force her resignation from parliament.

A day after being suspended indefinitely from the caucus and all its processes for refusing to abide by the party rules, which forbid crossing the floor, the West Australian senator said she would abstain from voting for the rest of the week while considering her future.
