Defeated Liberal Tim Wilson: I’ll be a ‘constructive voice’ on climate
Tim Wilson says he will offer a “constructive centre-right voice” in Australia’s climate and energy debate from outside federal parliament, telling an industry conference that net-zero policy was not the main factor in the Coalition’s defeat.
The former Liberal MP and assistant minister for energy and emissions reduction told the National Energy Efficiency Conference in Melbourne he was “great”, despite losing his seat of Goldstein to independent Zoe Daniel.
