When Christopher Pyne arrives for lunch, he’s slightly distracted. Moments earlier he had been told he would have to quarantine for 14 days upon his return to South Australia.

The idea of isolation is an uncomfortable prospect. “I'm like the donkey in Shrek,” he laughs. “I like to talk to the people!”
