Greens look to work with Coalition on spending cap
Greens leader Richard Di Natale wants to work with the re-elected Morrison government to cap spending on federal elections, a plan designed to stop a repeat of Clive Palmer's $60 million campaign for influence in Parliament.
After dire predictions about their prospects before the poll, Senator Di Natale described last week's election as an excellent result for Australia's third party – set to have all nine senators and lower house MP Adam Bandt re-elected to the new Parliament.
