Financial Review, ABC journalists forced out of China
Two Australian journalists working in China arrived in Sydney on Tuesday morning following a diplomatic stand-off that banned them from leaving the country until they answered questions about detained television anchor Cheng Lei.
The China correspondents for The Australian Financial Review and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation spent five days under protection in Australian diplomatic missions after state security officers visited their homes after midnight on Wednesday.
