Dutton’s frontbench reshuffle stymies NSW stoush

Peter Dutton has promoted Queensland MP Luke Howarth in a wider-than-expected opposition frontbench reshuffle that also protects sitting Liberal Melissa McIntosh from a preselection challenge in western Sydney.
Mr Howarth was elevated to shadow assistant treasurer and opposition spokesman on financial services in the reshuffle, sparked by the resignation of former Morrison government minister Stuart Robert last year.
