Deal with ISPs to block terror attack websites

Australia's biggest internet service providers have agreed to a new regime allowing them to be ordered to block websites that host material depicting terrorist attacks or violent crimes.
Under the agreement, the eSafety commissioner will be able to direct ISPs to block websites for a minimum of five calendar days to protect Australians from viewing "horrific" content in the aftermath of an attack.
