Court rejects Palmer appeal over tick for Yes

The full Federal Court has rejected Clive Palmer’s emergency challenge to the Indigenous Voice referendum, ruling that ticks can be counted as Yes in Saturday’s poll.
Mr Palmer and United Australia Party senator Ralph Babet had argued the Australian Electoral Commission would be showing bias if it treated a tick as a Yes and a cross as an informal vote.
