Corruption chief warns lawyers, consultants

The head of the National Anti-Corruption Commission, Paul Brereton, has warned lawyers against giving risk advice to clients and hinted at inquiries involving the consulting sector.

In a speech described as “perfect” by Geoffrey Watson, SC, of the Centre for Public Integrity, Mr Brereton laid out an expansive vision for the new body.
