Chinese state media labels Australians hypocrites on press freedom
China's state-run media has hit back at the dramatic departure of two Australian journalists from China, claiming Australian authorities recently raided the homes of Chinese journalists and seized computers and mobile phones.
Nationalistic tabloid the Global Times accused Australia of hypocrisy over press freedom, seizing on the local media industry's own campaign against the bevy of laws passed by successive federal governments.
