China travel ban extended for another week

Foreigners who have spent time in China recently will continue to be blocked from entering Australia after Cabinet's national security committee resolved to extend the coronavirus travel ban for a further week.
While widely expected, the ban's extension to February 22 is a blow to the education and tourism sectors, which have borne the economic brunt of Chinese students and visitors being cut off from arriving in Australia.
