China 'needs to get on with us': Downer
The Morrison government should not kowtow to China to resolve diplomatic tensions, says former foreign minister Alexander Downer, who is urging Beijing to remember that its economic growth has been fuelled by Australian raw materials.
Speaking at the National Press Club, Mr Downer also confirmed he was fully cooperating with the Trump administration's criminal investigation into the origins of the FBI inquiry into claims of Russian meddling during the 2016 US presidential election.
