How supermarkets discount and force suppliers to pay

Australia’s supermarket giants should be banned from charging compulsory marketing and promotional fees to suppliers, and from forcing brands to discount their products, businessman David Bellamy says.
The Bellamy’s Organic founder helped lead the fourth-largest baby formula producer in Australia before leaving the company in 2009. It was ultimately sold to new Chinese owners for $1.5 billion in 2019.
