- Prime Minister Scott Morrison advised against "organised, non-essential gatherings" of 500 people more, as of Monday;
- But the Prime Minister said further travel bans, including a ban on travellers from Europe, was not necessary at the moment;
- NSW premier Gladys Berejiklian assured parents it’s still safe to send their kids to school, despite France shutting its schools;
- Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is in a two-week quarantine after his wife Sophie Trudeau tested positive for coronavirus; and
- A string of events including the the Formula One Australian Grand Prix and Fashion Festival were cancelled.
