Australia has not 'injured' China ties: PM

Australia has done nothing to "injure" the relationship with China, Prime Minister Scott Morrison says, after Beijing called upon some "soul-searching" over alleged racism.

With ties between Canberra and Beijing at their lowest ebb, Mr Morrison offered a strongly-worded defence of the government's recent actions and declared he would gladly compare Australia's record on freedom and multiculturalism with any other country.
