Attorney-General warns Scott Morrison over disclosing ‘secrets’

Attorney-General Mark Dreyfus has accused former prime minister Scott Morrison of undermining national security and the integrity of cabinet after he co-operated with a book on Australia’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mr Dreyfus tabled a letter with the Legal and Constitutional Affairs Committee on Monday that he sent to Mr Morrison via email earlier in the day about “apparent extensive disclosures of cabinet information”.
