ASIC staff motivation, satisfaction, stress hit critical levels

Staff motivation, satisfaction and stress are at critical levels at the corporate watchdog, and role insecurity and intention to leave are well above average, according to a confidential staff survey.

The “cultural diagnostic report” into the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, made public through a Senate inquiry on Tuesday, showed that the regulator had just two out of 12 outcomes at average or desirable levels.
