Any NSW lockdown surrender will imperil national recovery: PM
The NSW government will jeopardise the planned national recovery from COVID-19 if it gives up the fight to suppress the coronavirus outbreak in Greater Sydney, as Gladys Berejiklian has indicated, Scott Morrison warned.
With NSW reporting a record 356 cases and three more deaths on Tuesday, the Prime Minister expressed concern at the increasingly defeatist language of the NSW Premier that vaccination, rather than suppression, was the ticket out of lockdown.
