Albanese vows to tackle antisemitism after crisis talks with rabbis
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has pledged to do more to protect Jewish Australians after crisis talks with rabbis amid the rising tide of antisemitism and the proliferation of pro-Palestinian protests at university campuses.
Mr Albanese’s acknowledgement follows growing fear from the Jewish community over their safety, and accusations from Opposition Leader Peter Dutton that a lack of prime ministerial leadership has allowed antisemitism to take root.
