Business urges Coalition rethink on climate, Labor wins Greens support

Long-frustrated business groups have called on the Coalition to rethink its opposition to legislating Labor’s climate targets to ensure the policy will survive a change of government and guarantee investment certainty.

They issued the call after the Albanese government heralded the end to the climate wars by staring down the Greens to win support for its emissions reduction targets and achieve the biggest advance in climate policy in a decade.
