ADF prepares land and air capability for possible Lebanon evacuation

The Australian Defence Force has land and air capability ready to evacuate citizens from Lebanon if the federal government orders an operation amid intense fighting between Israel and Hezbollah.
Any operation to evacuate the estimated 15,000 to 30,000 Australian citizens currently in Lebanon will be led by Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade officials.
