Farm Pride's egg plan scrambled

The proposed sale of struggling Farm Pride Foods' egg business was rejected by shareholders at a general meeting yesterday.
Shareholders ganged up against a board proposal to sell the egg business, while retaining its snack food division, Golden Days, polling 59 per cent, or 6.9 million, votes against the sale.
