Newly listed egg marketer and processor Farm Pride Foods Ltd is set to outstrip its prospectus profit forecasts for its first year after posting interim net earnings of $503,000.

The result was based on sales of $36 million and an operating profit of $994,000, putting it on track to exceed prospectus forecasts for the full year of $64 million and $1.8 million respectively.
