Eleven new judges for merged Family Court

The family law system received a significant boost on Friday, with 11 appointments and five new judges for the top tier of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.
The merged court now has 104 judges, with 34 in division one (formerly the Family Court) and 70 in division two, which handles over 75 per cent of family law matters and general federal law cases.
