Diamond demand gives Ashton sparkle

Renewed activity in the resources sector and strong US demand for diamonds has contributed to a 30 per cent rise this week in the share price of Australian producer, Ashton Mining.
Ashton stock hit a high of $1.08 during the week, came back to finish yesterday at 98¢ (up 2¢ on the day), but remains more than 20 per cent above its price at the start of June.
