Automotive parts maker CMI said yesterday it planned mediation with the vendors of one of its businesses after attempts to resolve a dispute had failed.

CMI's executive chairman, Mr Max Hofmeister, told shareholders at the company's annual general meeting that TJM Products, which makes four-wheel-drive and light commercial accessories and parts, had not performed to expectations and budget in the year to June 30.
