Clive Palmer’s olive branch on eve of $30b High Court case

Clive Palmer says the door is open to negotiate a settlement with the West Australian government in a $30 billion dispute over a stalled iron ore project.
He also revealed a slight thawing in his relations with giant Chinese conglomerate CITIC in that he is assisting CITIC gain Foreign Investment Review Board (FIRB) approval to mine an additional billion tonnes of iron ore material in WA.
