Former executive director of Austrim Nylex, Ms Veronica Vidal, is set to make a multimillion-dollar legal claim against the embattled manufacturer and trigger a potentially embarrassing court battle for the company.

Ms Vidal, who has been closely aligned with former chairman Mr Alan Jackson, is understood to be seeking more than $3 million in entitlements from the group after being "constructively dismissed" last week.
