Australian Premium Wines Ltd will spend $6 million on a new winery at its McLaren Vale operations in South Australia to drive growth in its premium Haselgrove brand.

The company has also identified a field of candidates from which it will choose a managing director to run APW following the resignation of Mr Philip Brand, who completed his final day with the company yesterday.
