ANZ has broken ranks with the other big four banks to endorse a national exam for financial planners to help restore confidence in the beleaguered industry.
ANZ Banking Group has broken ranks with the other big four banks to explicitly endorse a national exam for financial planners to help restore confidence in the beleaguered industry.
ANZ says an annual test of financial planners’ skills and knowledge is warranted, along with a requirement that new entrants be educated to degree level. The bank is offering to contribute $600,000 to the start-up costs of an organisation to conduct the testing.
