Allan makes townhouse pitch to woo millennial voters
Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan has launched a bold play to woo millennial voters by making it easier to subdivide blocks and put two homes on a lot while also casting herself as a crusader against urban NIMBYs.
Ms Allan on Thursday announced a raft of potential changes to speed up development of new housing, including reducing subdivision assessments from 60 days to 10, granting criteria-based planning permit exemptions, or even no permits at all.
